Apex will release for the label and narrow web market its UltraCell series of anilox rolls and GTT-Label, which the company describes as “the revolutionary successor to traditional anilox technology.” Visitors to Booth 3 at Label Summit Africa can also expect a peek at Apex’s bridge and plate sleeves.

GTT-Label was designed to be a predictable ink transfer that guarantees strong densities. According to the company, this patented scientifically designed open slalom ink channel geometry allows the ink to flow precisely onto a printing plate. According to Bas van der Poel, technical sales manager, “With GTT, we truly believe, we enable flexo to reach a higher quality level, which is needed to secure the future of HD flexo.”

For printers who don’t require the high quality and precision that GTT yields, Apex offers its UltraCell and UltraCell+ conventional anilox rolls in all engravings, from elongated cells, up to channellox, trihelical and Hexagonal, etc.

Responding to marketplace demand for more precise and durable bridge and plate sleeves, Apex will introduce this new product in the range to the Africa label industry. Apex bridge and plate sleeves are produced using a brand-new proprietary composite and a manufacturing process that the company says “delivers the utmost precision, longevity and performance for all flexo sleeve applications.”
